The FireScan readers provide an environmentally compliant laser scanner solution in a value priced general purpose product. In complement to the QuickScan® 6000 Plus laser scanners, the FireScan series of readers also offer premium performance and are an ideal solution for retail, healthcare, office automation and light industrial applications that require high reading distances (over 40 cm / 15.8 in) and a bright, well-defined scan line. An integrated single laser dot aiming system permits easy pointing on the code at higher distances to improve productivity.

Reading performance is enhanced by Datalogic’s patented PuzzleSolver™ technology for fast and accurate reading of standard, poorly printed and damaged codes. Advanced data editing and formatting functions allows the scanned data to be modified prior to transfer, ensuring compatibility with the application on the host system

FireScan readers are available in three models with different interface sets: the standard D131 model provides all the typical connections (USB, RS-232, Keyboard Wedge and Wand Emulation), the D111 model provides complete connectivity to main IBM 46xx cash registers and the D141 model performs undecoded reader applications (ex. connecting the reader to flatbed scanners).

A hands-free stand for presentation style reading and mounting options are available to organize the workspace and to save valuable counter area when needed.
